Curt Vendel
Has anyone made an libraries or created any devices in EagleCAD for Atari connectors and chips? I was about to start work on a footprint and pinouts for an SIO connector but before spending the time doing this I wanted to see if anyone has put together any libraries or devices that are Atari specific for EagleCAD. Thanks, Curt
Richard H.
These are from my Eagle lib folder. I can't remember where / who they came from. Eagle_2600.zip

Bruce Tomlin
Here's all the .lbr files I've made, in various states of completion. coleco.lbr - colecovision cartridge genesis.lbr - sega genesis cartridge (case holes for both EA and Sega carts) sms.lbr - SMS edge connector (I think I was making this for a Master System adapter) atari-2600 - 2600 cartridge atari-800 - 800 cartridge atari-7800 - 7800 cartridge text.lbr - my text font made with arcs instead of Eagle's ugly default line-drawing font. You have to paste it up a letter at a time but it looks so much better. It also contains an AA logo. I think I got the original design for the edge connector pins from cadsoft's edge.lbr, which is why they have all those extra layers for gold plating and such. The only ones that have actually been manufactured are Atari-7800-Small and the Sega Genesis regular ("GENESIS") without outlines. bruce-lbr-2010-07-26.zip Edited July 27, 2010 by Bruce Tomlin
