NeilTheDruid
Hi chaps, I have a couple of the PAL 7800 pads, that I am fixing up. I am wondering what the little Atari logo on the controller is finished with because most of the silver has come off. I was thinking maybe I could use some kind of silver leaf. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can emulate that effect? Yeah, I know, it sounds pretty neurotic but I like things to look good if I've spent some time restoring them. Cheers

the.golden.ax
Two options I can think of. Both require a steady hand but should work. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Accessories/Cosmetics/Nails/Silver-Metallic-Nail-Polish-278840.jsp http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/611497/Sharpie-Metallic-Markers-Silver-Pack-Of/?cm_mmc=Mercent-_-Google-_-Pens_Pencils_and_Markers-_-611497&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=CPC&utm_campaign=plusbox-beta&mr:trackingCode=96F93C1B-EC81-DE11-B7F3-0019B9C043EB&mr:referralID=NA AX
NeilTheDruid
I found this foil stamping pen on ebay which looks like it might be worth a shot: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260624483608
the.golden.ax
Wow, very cool. Let us know how that works (skeptical because it is cheap) that could be a good item to use on future projects. AX

I was kinda thinking the same, especially as the machines on ebay start in the £200 range. It does say it's suitable for plastic though, so I think I'll get it and see how it goes.
