5200 emulation problems

on the emulator one of the pull down menu tabs is called 'atari'

select the atari pull down menu, and you should see an option for 'ROM IMAGES'

on the rom images box click on the 5200 tab and route that to where your 5200 bios or o/s is (it's helpful to keep all bios's in same directory, even in the same diorectory as the emulator....save's having to hunt your drive for the bios image)

Once that is done, just open up atari pull down menu and select machine type and select 5200

after that is done just open up a directory windows directory which contain your 5200 rom games and drag the rom image over to the emulator window and the game should initialise/execute

PN: Because the 5200 was made in US only, it is unknown if leaving the video mode to pal will stop the 5200 mode from working (so in the video mode, best set it to ntsc)

Actually, PAL setting slows down the game to 50/60 of original speed including the music.

Yeah, you need the ROM image files rather than ROM chips.
