appledamian
I just picked up a new still sealed in the plastic copy of commando for the 7800, any idea how much its worth?
phaxda
What kind of bock is it? I hear the Yuengling is good. The game might be kind of soggy by now, though.

HammR25
It's pretty normal for a few eBay sellers to list things for ridiculous prices in the hopes that a sucker hit's the buy it now button.
Hydro Thunder
I Made An Offer to the guy asking $100 for his, but unsurprisingly my $30 offer was auto-rejected. I figured that's about what it's worth to me to have in the collection, box and all, 'cause it's a really fun game. Collector value, that's another story. OldAtarian
Has anyone else ever thought that the game of Commando should have been about running around with no underwear, killing people Edited October 14, 2010 by OldAtarian

OldAtarian
Back to reality, any discussion of values is pointless if you can't find someone willing to pay the price you're asking or selling for the price you want to pay. You can have two identical items sell for wildly different prices depending on who is interested at the time and how much they are willing to pay. If you have a lot of interested buyers with deep pockets, you'll get more. If you have only a few interested buyers with more limited resources, you'll get less. Any price guides you look at for any collectible do not necessarily represent what an item is 'worth'. Market conditions do. Someone here could tell you it's worth $25 (just a random figure pulled out of the air for illustration purposes, not an actual value) and you can try to sell it for that price but if nobody is willing to pay $25 for it it won't sell even though it might be 'worth' that much. On the other hand, you could also try selling it for $50 and if someone wants it badly enough, they might pay it. A lot of ebay sellers do that by placing high Buy It Now prices on their stuff, but if there's multiple sellers with the same item selling it for less, the high priced item won't sell because there are cheaper alternatives available. Someone undercutting the market could also upset the price structure temporarily. Edited October 16, 2010 by OldAtarian

True, but i however have found some pretty damn good deals using the "buy it now" button, depends.I really like that option, saves a lot of time and stress.
