doyman
I'm heartbroken, I got a Fatal Run game and it does not want to work. The Atari boot screen comes on, but then all I get are diagonal colored lines. I've had so few DOA atari carts that have not been fixed by cleaning I'm not sure if there is anything else I can do. AHHHHH!!!!
Nesbroslash
It's a Euro cart, you might wanna try getting a PAL 2600.... (Sorry if I'm being naive. I'm not the tech expert here... )

The cart won't fit in a 2600 slot its a 7800 game.

doyman
No sticker, I can post a quick vid of what the screen looks like. Is there any other way to tell if it is PAL? Defintely 7800.
+Mitch
It sounds like it is failing the validation which is a pretty typical sign of a PAL 7800 cart in an NTSC machine. I hope you didn't pay too much for it. Mitch

Other than trying it in a PAL machine or dumping it and comparing it I don't think there is.

Pac-Man
Hi doyman, I think the 7800 NTSC check the game before it start. And the PAL-game need no checksum to start (differend OS). I am interessted on your cartridge if you sell it. Greetings, Steffen Edited September 22, 2010 by Pac-Man
Pac-Man
A signatur key in games is nessessary for use with unmodified NTSC 7800 consoles. You can change your OS but i think the PAL game have problems on NTSC consoles. Edited September 23, 2010 by Pac-Man
eightbit
It is most certainly a PAL cart. Did the person that sold it to you specify?
doyman
It is most certainly a PAL cart. Did the person that sold it to you specify? Nope but he gave me some money back.
