ataridave
This would be really helpful to know-my apologies if I posted this in the wrong area of the forums, if so please direct me to the right area. But I want to get a 7800, and, while I do know that Thrust Platinum doesn't work on the 7800, I don't know about any other games.
+SpiceWare
Just tried and Thrust Platinum works on my 7800.
ataridave
Just tried and Thrust Platinum works on my 7800. Really? So, do all of the homebrews listed in the store work on the 7800? Because I'd rather get one then a 2600.
atomickneedrop
certain 7800s have compatability issues it seems, and some don't. i had a deck that really didn't like strat-o-gems deluxe. the deck i have now has no issues that i've experienced. atomickneedrop
i have several 2600 homebrews direct from atariage, which play fine, astar, skeleton+, duck attack, this planet sucks, gunfight, falldown, fourplay, etc... very satisfied customer. DracIsBack
certain 7800s have compatability issues it seems, and some don't The compatibility issue gets really overstated sometimes. The vast, overwhelming huge majority of 2600 games (from back in the day and homebrew) run flawlessly on all versions of the 7800. A tiny, weeny, puny little handful MIGHT have issues on certain models.
