NaiGuy
I recently Bought a 7800 I found at flea Market, I currently only have Pole Position 2 and a Tele-games Asteroids cart for the 2600. I can't get the 2600 cart to fit at all, and the 7800 game gives me squiggly lines etc after the Atari boot screen. The case of the console is cracked and broken but the interior looks fine. Any ideas on the problem?
+Mitch
I'm guessing the tabs to open the dust cover on the 2600 carts are missing on your 7800. Your 7800 PP2 cart probably needs a good cleaning. Use some isopropyl alcohol and q-tips and give the cart contacts a good cleaning. NaiGuy
Ok, so after attempting to clean the Game, (technically the third time I tried to clean it). Still no luck, I forced open the dust cover and can't get the 2600 game to play either. Could it be an issue with the cart connector pins? +Mitch
It's possible, does it look like there is something jammed in there? Mitch
NaiGuy
Not that I can see, But it does look like its coated in dust, is there anyway to clean it out, i curtainly can't fit a Q-tip in there.

Wrap an old credit card or something similar around a thin lint free cloth and put a little isopropanol alcohol on it and gently stick it in the slot moving slowly up and down. It should clean it fairly well.
