Here's a very simple attempt at gameplay.

 

Press fire to start a game: a cursor will start to move across the playfield cells.

 

Press fire to turn on the square the cursor is on, and score a point.

 

You can also use the directions to rotate/scroll the playfield.

 

The game ends when the cursor collides with a cell that has already been turned on.
