Itchy Koala
Has anyone used glyde.com? I want to give it a go if its legitimate Edited February 5, 2011 by Itchy Koala
SoulBlazer
I buy and sell on Amazon all the time. As long as you're willing to wait for someone to buy your item, it's a safer and easier way to make transacations and with less risk, IMHO. The few times I've had problems as a buyer Amazon has covered me. Of course, as with ANY site, it's a lot easier to be a buyer then a seller. toiletunes
Best alternatives- it depends on if you're buying or selling, what you're looking for etc. For buying 2600, thegoatstore.com has good prices tradengames.com lets you see what you're buying, so there's no question about condition. atari2600.com has great selection of harder to find games. gpdgames.tripod.com is excellent if you're into label variations. Atariage.com/store is the homebrew authority by and large, my best transactions were right here in the marketplace forum. Itchy Koala
Has anyone used glyde.com? I want to give it a go if its legitimate I quoted myself, dig it. I knew glyde.com was risky because they don't show the actual picture of the item you're buying. Sure enough... Gee...thaaanks.

Havok69
Hmmm - might have to check out Glyde. I'm not a picky collector, so as long I get the working item, I'm happy. I like the deal where they don't release payment until after you receive the item and approve it...
Itchy Koala
Hmmm - might have to check out Glyde. I'm not a picky collector, so as long I get the working item, I'm happy. I like the deal where they don't release payment until after you receive the item and approve it... And they do send you an email asking how the item is, so I will give them credit for having a regulating process in place to make sure you don't get screwed over. I'm sure most of the time everything is complete, I just got a raw deal on this one.
