+David_P
Just noticed this. Rare to see SDX pop up on eBay; rarer still to see it boxed. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 120691190502
+wood_jl
Just noticed this. Rare to see SDX pop up on eBay; rarer still to see it boxed. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 120691190502 I'd been watching that. After I saw your post here, I knew there was no point in watching any further. $150??? Couldn't you buy 5 Atarimax 8 MB carts for that much? Why bother? fibrewire
I never win the cool stuff. So I had to bid $150. Seems ridiculous, but I'm kicking myself 20 times over for the stuff I missed. fibrewire
This SpartaDOS X haul from eBay was totally worth it! I had asked the guy I got SpartaDOS X from if he had any other A8 stuff. He totally gave me a freebie, a standard Atari Cart with SpartaDOS 3.3C 64K for XL/XE systems! But when I got the SpartaDOS X package today, there was another unmarked stacker cartridge identical to the SpartaDOS X, with transparent Atari tamper evident warranty void stickers over the sides. This is strange, so I carefully spaced the cartridge apart so as to not break the pins, and this was inside...
+wood_jl
Well, seeing as how I'm not willing to murder my family and take my inheritance now, I can't compete. So while it wasn't a bargain (bargain = free) it's a better deal. Congrats. Please tell me you did get both halves of the case and had it apart for a photo? fibrewire
Here is what I got from the SpartaDOS X auction. The Atari VOID sticker is the R-Time 8 cart. I think the RT8 was cleaned using the oxi-clean method, and probably stripped the silk screened R-Time 8 logo off the cart
