Ataritard
I have two of these TI-99/4a systems so I've narrowed the problem down to the video modulator box. I get the video but no sound. Is this common? Any ideas?
Astharot
Hello, if you are american and have usa version of ti99 you can built a easy video cable. Connector Din in usa Ti99 (NTSC mode) have 5 pin, just use pin 4 for video and pin 3 for sound. Also if you are European and have TI99 Pal Mode, video out have 6 pin and the cable is a little bit difficult.. the wires no 2 but 4. One for audio and 3 for video in mode video composite Using a tester for found a pin where is 12V and start a numeration pin. Look -> http://pinouts.ru/connectors/din5dm.gif Pin Name Description 1 12V +Vid (NO USE IT!!!) 2 R-Y red video output 3 AUDIO Sound output 4 Y green (or video composite out in usa version) 5 B-Y blue video output 6 GND GROUND Good Work !!!

zylon
I made one of those using the cable from a dead RF modulator. It gives a better picture than when it was new.
