kheffington Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Nice looking machine, but I think it may make be hard to sell for a good price with the auction. $45 ground UPS shipping, seems padded as you could ship a 40 Lb Package for that ground UPS and I don't know the weight but doubt it is anywhere near 40lbs. Unknown reserve. 1) I used the shipping of the last 1040 that sold, I always ship my items better than I would expect to receive, and refund the buyer the other costs if it's more. I've never shipped something so large so I could be off here. 2) I don't have a 1040 monitor, is there something I can look for that lets me know it works right besides actually using it on a monitor? 3) Yeah I put a reserve to protect myself from selling too low, I didn't want to do buy it now because I don't know what this machine is worth in this condition.
