What could be wrong with my INTV 1?

So I got an INTV 1 and it worked fine for the first hour, then would go to a black screen. The next day it did the same, but after about 30 mins. Now, it just won't turn on and work at all more than a minute, if that.

According to the INTV repair guide, this problem means the power transformer is bad. Ok, it seems simple enough to test. I checked it with my multimeter according to a couple youtube videos (each video had you check different spots than the other videos), and all of it checks out perfect.

I cleaned all of the carts and none were even dirty really, but I can't clean the systems cart port. It looks shiny and metal though.

Is there anything else that would get this thing working? What exactly could be wrong with it if it isn't the power transformer?

Bad power supplies sometimes only fail after warming up under load/use. Continued use of bad one WILL cause chip failure. I'll see if I have any left.
