Epyx_Fail
What would be a fair asking price for a like new 5200 with controllers and a couple games in the original box? I'm trying to decide if I want to buy this or not. I collect 2600 stuff and don't know much about values in the 5200 realm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. tz101
If everything works good, $50-$60 range.
zylon
I'd agree with $50 or so. The key is "Does it work?". It's almost guaranteed the controllers either won't work properly or even not at all. That's to be expected. If the system powers up and you get an unscrambled picture on screen, then you've got something to work with.
Charlie_
I'd try for $50 but maybe go as high as $75 if it is working 100% with switch box. Picture looks like its a 4 port, being all glossy like that. Actually, looking at the picture again, if thats the switch box under the controller on the right, where is the power brick? If that the power brick and it is a 2 port, its the most glossy 2 port I've ever seen. I think maybe thats a 4 port with no special switchbox..... zylon
Looks like it does have power and switchbox. I think the brick is upside down so the writing isn't visible.

Epyx_Fail
Hmmm...I'll probably hold off then. Sounds like too much could go wrong. I like dependability and simpicity. Hence the 2600 collecting. Thanks for the advice guys.
0078265317
If it local then why not ask him to hook it up and see if it works or not.
atari181
If you want a nice CIB it will take some time for under $100. A nice 5200 with everything working and all inserts in a great condition box will run around $150 to $200. If you are a collector and want everything perfect, that is the way to go.
