coyo5050
Not sure if this is the right forum but was hoping for some suggestions/advice. Won something on Ebay 19 days ago and paid immediately. Its been sitting as pending on ebay.com and unclaimed in my paypal transactions ever since. On the first day it happened I messaged the seller to let him know probably a problem with his email. He replied that he would get it fixed. Not fixed. Several emails by me and no responses by him ever since. I want my item. I know I can cancel the payment but I dont want him to just turn around and say I never paid either. I can't open a dispute since ebay says it "hasn't been paid for". I am not sure what to do. Thank you Edited July 9, 2011 by coyo5050
nopaybob
If you cant open one up on ebay you should be able to open one up on paypal. I would open a dispute on paypal asap because you will have to wait for other parties responses etc.

Tell them you want the item you paid for sent immediately and see how he responds, sadly sometimes you need to push people before they get moving. coyo5050
Paypal wont let me open up a dispute either, says "This transaction cannot be disputed at this time. This is usually because the transaction has not yet been completed." I have sent 4 very clear messages without response from the seller. Pull the seller contact information from eBay as it may have a phone number. Cancel the PayPal payment. File with eBay to cancel transaction. Send an email thru the eBay system stating that you have canceled the payment as his contact information for PayPal is not correct. This will get the money back and show that you tried to pay. Stan
I'm pretty sure a payment that is cancelled will show in your profile, so you'll have proof of it, as well as the contact with the seller.
