Hank
Anyone else think that the prices on Ebay have dropped some since last summer?
screamin1
I have noticed a definite drop during the past 6-8 months, but lately I feel that prices have been on an upswing. Not sure if that is due to the holiday season or maybe the economy beginning to shift. I actually enjoyed the period of lower prices. holygrailvideogames.com
Prices are way down from a year or two ago. Prices have been up a little over the past 30-60 days, but we will see how long that last.
AtariLeaf
January and February are a good time for buyers and a bad time for sellers generally. There is less demand because everyone spent all their money over the holidays. This is true in the retail world too.
Ed Siegler
It even seems to me that prices have been dropping for the last couple of weeks.
Happy_Dude
But they recoupe any losses in postage I wanted a Colleco last week and it looked reasonably priced BUT THEN..... I saw the postage US$20 within America. Like, get F@#ked, It couldn't cost more than $5 to send (unless its made of LEAD) I don't even want to think what international shipping would be. BoOchan!
I'm not surprised that eBay doesn't lower their auction fees soon to encourage more sales. My eBay shop is staying empty till after my Work Break

When I sold mine, it cost me around $13.00 to ship first class, what being very well packed too.
oesii
you guys are right, I haven't really checked out eBay for a good month now because I found a few good local sources to keep me busy, but this morning I browsed around ebay to see the going prices for some carts. And here's what I bid on and won: CIB Bridge, $1.25 CIB Double Dunk, $1.25 CI Pete Rose Baseball, $1.25 All three have been on my want list for a year but I've hadn't seen Pete Rose for under $10 on eBay before today. I think I'll stick to trading away some of my 4 and 5 rarities because they aren't worth much on ebay right now.
Inky
Right now I'm bidding on a 600xl for 10 bucks. Not too shabby.
