Charlie_
I know it has been talked about before but I wanted to bring this up again. Both my 4 port and 2 port systems take a few minutes to warm up to the correct colors. It is not very noticeable most of the time but if I put Adventure 2 in a cold system the game select screen starts off as a very blue blue-green. If I let the system sit and stay on within 2 mins the blueish blue-green turns to a more green blue-green. I replaced my GTIA and also the cap at C4. The colors seem to warm up much faster now, but it is still noticable. Anyone else notice a color warm up time with the 5200? Mostly you might not notice but with Adventure 2, The ground color turns from a light green to a brownish color.
zylon
It takes a little time for the voltage regulators to warm up. As they get older, they're a little slower to do so.
+Mitch
Yeah, it's either the voltage regulator or the electrolytic caps getting old. They can be replaced fairly inexpensively though. Soldering is required. Mitch

So does that mean they will eventually die. And if so how long will the ones you replaced in mine last?
