The cart has been tested and appears to be a final pre production of Missle Command. Pics included. The cart is currently being further analyzed for rom variations. We were able to even get the "RF" on level 13. Crazy that things like this are still surfacing so many years later. +Wonder007 Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 For the earlier Atari 2600 released games, it is like the one in this thread....I own some of them and they look this one....in fact, there is one that also includes a written statement to send back the cart when done using it....interesting.....in all likelihood, the cart on this thread is a final version....just in an older prototype labeled shell. He sold it before he knew anyone else was interested in it. Considering it looked to be a final...I did not know if there was any interest in it or I would have said something. I love prototypes not only can they go for a bit of money they're also unique and special in many ways.It also makes you wonder, why was this game cancelled?
