P5ychoFox Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 My Lynx mark 1 has lost its power jack connector (still works ok with batteries) and I want to replace it for as little money as possible. I know I can buy a replacement for $2 here: http://www.best-elec.../lynx.htm#Right ...but when you take into account international postage (I'm in the UK) and minimum order costs it gets expensive. Here's my question: Can I just solder in a power connector from a Sega Game Gear and then use a PSU with the correct polarity for the Lynx? (or the Game Gear PSU polarity if that's the same).
