atari2atari
Two hours to go and there is a bid! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 200691240514 Well, I suppose at the opening price, it MIGHT be a deal . . . if Bubble Bobble 2 turns out to be a decent copy. That cart usually breaks $100 on completed eBay sales. -a2a
Chuck D. Head
Thank god that's over. $127.50. 2 1/2 bucks more than I thought it was worth.
guy767
Hmmm, $128 doesn't seem like a bad deal to me as Bubble Bobble 2 sells for $130 and has a 91% rarity. If I won the lot I would sell everything except BB 2 to get the game virtually for free. I suspect a "profesional" reseller bought the lot and plans to make a profit on it. GameGirl420
Meh. Even with Bubble Bobble 2 in there I still woudn't buy that ripoff of an auction. I doubt that will ever sell. Makes me wonder tho....sellers can actually know if you're watching an item?? LOL.
guy767
Nes = $50 Zelda = $15 Zelda 2 = $15 Zelda Grey Cart = $15 Mario 2 = $15 Mario 3 = $15 Dr Mario = $10 Jr. Math = $20 Duck/mario/track = $5 Bubble 1 = $20 Total = $180 That leaves you with about $50 extra and Bubble 2 for free. Pretty good deal IMO

Shawn
Nes = $50 $25 Zelda = $15 $5 Zelda 2 = $15 $5 Zelda Grey Cart = $15 $5 Mario 2 = $15 $4 Mario 3 = $15 $4 Dr Mario = $10 $1 Jr. Math = $20 $10 Duck/mario/track = $5 .50 cents Bubble 1 = $20 $10 Total = $180 $69.50 Fixed. Mind you thats still ok if the BB2 is minty cause $128 - $69.50 = $58.50 for a $100ish copy of Bubble Bobble 2. Alot of leg work to save $40 or $50 bucks if all you wanted was the one cart but worth it to the right person.
guy767
I got the prices from completed Ebay listings and RarityGuide.com. If you were to offer Free Shipping for each loose cart in the lot you would have no problem getting those quoted prices IMO. You would probably get more once an auction ends due to multiple bids. Don't forget that Bubble Bobble Part 2 is one of the rarest carts you can get for the NES; it's right up there with Snow Brothers and Little Samson. The Asking price averages around $150. I definitely could make this deal worth my time and wind up getting BB2 for free with a little spare cash to boot. This was not a bad deal IMO. guy767
Haha, cute. You have to consider that most people on Ebay are not as savvy when it comes to prices and rarity; they pay a premium for their ignorance and convenience. Perhaps my prices are a bit overvalued, but if so, not by much. This is especially true if you offer Free shipping for each item in the lot. Just do a price check at Rarity Guide.com and view some completed listings for BB2. The game is easily worth $150 alone. IMO the seller got ripped off. guy767
Well, as the completed listings link proves some people will pay $150 all day long. Don't forget that buying from Ebay is much safer now thanks to EBay’s Buyer Protection policy. If the item is not as described you are guaranteed a refund despite a seller's return policy. The seller can state “Absolutely NO Returns or Refunds! I swear on the mighty god Cthulhu this is so!” and it wouldn’t mean a thing because eBay’s Buyer Protection supersedes a seller’s return policy. I would rather buy from eBay than from some random dude in a flea market or Craigslist; you have much more protection at Ebay.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari
If you offer free shipping, you aren't getting the prices that you quoted. Also, if you are selling them on ebay, you have the crazy final value fee and then the paypal fees. Sorry but I think your prices are way off, Shawn Sr.'s are a bit more realistic. guy767
I am going to have to respectfully disagree. Believe it or not the prices I quoted are realistic and the items sell for that price at Ebay on a regular basis without free shipping. Granted, it will take time but if you are not in a rush this BB2 has great potential. Just look at completed listings for the items in question to discover that I'm right about this. I would have bid on this lot for a chance to get BB2 virtually for free. IMO this BB2 lot was a steal.

Even if you assumed that you would get those prices for those games -- and if you can, head to GOAT Store right now and buy me out of them -- you take $180 and take out about 10% for ebay / PayPal fees ($18), then we take out, say, $4 per auction for shipping fees (cheap shipping plus an envelope). You sold 10 items, and paid $40 to ship them (way low). Now, your $180 is $122. While that wouldn't be bad, I figure that as a best case scenario. And, you aren't making any money -- just spending a very small amount for BB2. It's still a good deal.

OK, I just looked at the completed auctions for Dr. Mario that you say is worth $10 on a regular basis. Here are the prices for the last five that have sold on ebay: $2.75 $4.50 $1.04 $0.99 $0.99 How about Zelda II that is "worth $15", here are the last five that have sold on ebay: $6.51 $4.26 $6.95 $9.50 $7.95 Maybe the "$20" Bubble Bobble is where it's at, here are the last five of those that sold on ebay: $9.50 $12.99 (free shipping) $12.99 (free shipping) $12.00 (with the manual!) $14.00 (with the manual and free shipping!) Here's an auction that just ended hours ago that has three games from your list with your value of $40, went for $15.61: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110803716514 I'm really not sure where you get your prices but it's not the ebay I'm looking at. guy767
Just for the sake of argument here's what I found for completed listings that sold on eBay... SM3 $24: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 370569963569 SM2 $15: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280801983861 Bubble Bobble $15: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 250919326596 Zelda $17: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140675573497 Zelda 2 $18; eBay Auction -- Item Number: 350502211428 Zelda Gray Cart $14: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400264642048 Mario-Duck-Track $5: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400265372546 Dr Mario $5: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130616318224 Donkey Kong Jr. $15: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 150679228971 NES System with Mario/Duck $80: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 300634993516 You could easily get $120 for everything thus paying for BB2. This lot was a good deal IMO. I’m kind of embarrassed I spent the time looking up these prices though lol.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari
I'm sure you had to really search those out, you said those games went for that "on a regular basis". I just looked at the last five that sold. I'm sure the lot was a good deal and I know how much Bubble Bobble 2 is worth but it's simply not true that the other games are sold for those prices on a regular basis. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule and if you search highest price first on ebay, I'm sure you could find those prices easily. It's all good, to each his own.
