eddhead
I call it a 101000101000 . lol! I usually call it a "1/3 of 7800"....
HatefulGravey
Most people around my area just call it "that old game thing with Pong on it I had when I was a young'in". I like telling them it is the VCS because they will argue that its the 2600 all day long.

Kurt_Woloch
I was always referring to it as the Atari VCS in its heyday (around 1984). Somehow, later it became the 2600, and like Thomas Jentzsch, I also called it "two thousand six hundred" since "twentysix hundred" doesn't make sense in German, though that scheme works for numbers under 2000, so for giving a year we do say "nineteen eighty two", for instance. Another way to spell it here would be to leave out the "thousand", making it the "Atari two six hundred".
THATUSERNAMEISALREADYTAKEN
It's always Twenty Six Hundred.
rolenta
The same person probably also refers to the year as Two Thousand Twelve. It's Twenty Twelve! Edited April 11, 2012 by rolenta
Master Phruby
This reminds me of a 'discussion' I had about the proper way to say A.T.-A.T. or At-At.
Fred Garvin
You sound like a redneck (Random Terrain) with peanut butter stuck to the roof of their mouth. Those ads were bizarre, the Atari rap is notably weird. I forgot how the 80's were. Edited April 12, 2012 by Fred Garvin

Skylark68
Just call it an Atari and everyone knows what you are talking about. Only 1 in probably about 1000 people today even know that Atari made a 5200 or 7800.

Thomas Jentzsch
One out of thousand people is still a very large number. I'd say 1 out of 100 million is more like it. That would be 70 people in total...
