skaredmask
Hay just wondering how many people have a Atari Jaguar CD-ROM or want one. I left this post on my 3DS
+CyranoJ
You need to add "Yes I do and it works when it feels like it"
racerx
Three, never had any problems with any of them. *knocks on wood*
RJ
Works, but last time I used it (not recently) it quit after about half an hr.
+save2600
I voted no, but would like one again someday. Been itching to play some Battlemorph actually. I'd like to give World Tour Racing another go too. And Highlander just because. lmao
Chilly Willy
No, but interested, but not at the prices I've seen lately. If I catch one on sale, I'll snap it up.
+LS650
You need to add another choice: - "I had one, but I sold it because I used my Skunkboard far, far more, while my Jag CD gathered dust."
skaredmask
Thought I'll upload a pic of my Jaguar CD-ROM. The game I play the most is Iron soldier 2 Picture was taken from my 3DS

+Gemintronic
I sometimes find Jaguar CDs at flea markets and pick them up. Never had a CD unit and probably never will. These things seem rarefied and touchy.
Austin
I had one in the '90s, then after parting with it I obtained another in the early '00s. I'd like to get another one, but not at the crazy prices people want for them these days. I might as well buy something else if I'm going to pay the CIB prices people are currently asking for them.
skaredmask
How much are they going for now? I bought mine 2 years ago for $95 + $10 shipping
+save2600
Used loose ones seem to range between $85-$100 here. Best Electronics still has 'em for $175 new sans their outer box, but you can buy a new one of those for $25 from B&C Computervisions. I bought mine brand new boxed back in the late 90's from VGLQ.com for something like $100. And *every* game (new, shrinked) was about $5ea. They had package deals where you'd get 4-5 games for $40-$50!
Gaztee
I have 3, but only one works now

Jagman
man.. I ordered so much stuff from video game liquidators back in the day! I got my Jag CD in 1998 from a fellow Jag fan - for 30 bucks with every game.. unfortunately no boxes except for World Tour Racing but it was still a super deal. Luckily it still works. +DrTypo
I used to own one back in the 90s but I sold it to a friend for almost nothing. Today I don't really care about it.

Yeah, I got an extra 32X and a bunch of 32X carts for next to nothing from VGLQ. They were awesome.
walter_J64bit
I have two JagCD one works ands the other doesn't the one that is working has been fixed by dantheratman  he use the Jaguar CD Unit Repair Guide
Jag_Slave
Got mine for 50 bucks with tempest. A bit shaky/noisy but cant beat the price! Its tough too! It was shipped from Cali- all the way to Kansas, and then I shipped it to Jeff for testing our games in Texas. Seems like its pretty durable. Paolo
I have a CD unit I bought from VGLQ. WOW those were the times! I probably spent more on shipping to Italy than the unit+games (kidding, of course, but I had a lot of deals)
jmetal88
I used to own one, and I'd like to get another one, but I just haven't been able to afford it.
Willard
I've had a JagCD for quite awhile now (maybe 10yrs) and it still works fine. I bought a broken one off of ebay and it was no trouble to fix That was when the guide was originally posted and "broken" JagCD's were selling for ~$30 on ebay. doctorclu
Own three, two work. Like them. VLM is the best reason to have a CD Rom addition (graphics display to any CD Rom) plus plays CD+G karaoke discs. Pretty nice. Also like Battlemorph, World Tour Racing, Iron Soldier 2, Brett Hull, Gorf, Cinepack movies, and VidGrid. Need to try Robinson's Requiem (bought right before going to Kuwait). Oh, actually enjoyed Highlander after a while.
+Stephen
Gotta agree with the doc on this one. I have 2 CDs for my 2 Jags. Both work, but are rarely used these days. When it is being used, it is running VLM.
