Albert
Gray Chang, author of several Atari 8-bit computer games, has created a website with lots of great information about them. The games are Claim Jumper, Dog Daze, Dog Daze Deluxe, and Bumpomov's Dogs. Gray has included descriptions, historical information, screenshots, and box artwork for each game, as well as the binaries you can download and run in an Atari 8-bit emulator. You can find all this and more at The Dog Daze Home Page.

ZylonBane
Nice site, but I can't figure what he's thinking with comments like this-- "When I completed Bumpomov's Dogs in 1983, it was already long past the peak of the computer game boom" Huh? The Atari software scene was just heating up around then. Games like Karateka, Seven Cities of Gold, Archon, Ballblazer, Boulderdash, et al came out long after '83. Cybergoth
Hi there! I was just about to post about the "Dog Daze" pages, when I found this message. Phew, how could I miss this only two weeks ago? Well, it struck my interest, because of "Claim Jumper". My, if I ever should do a Coleco "Gunfight" game, it might be more than heavily influenced by Claim Jumper. Is that game addicting, cool and balanced! A marvelous masterpiece! One of the best 2-Player games ever, maybe next to Archon. I'm even thinking of canning my XL/XE -> 5200 Gunfight venture straight away and start all over with Claim Jumper! Greetings, Manuel
