stringfellow
I have a wico keypad and joystick but really care for the joystick. I was wondering if anyone has made it so that you could use other joysticks such as the 7800 joystick with the keypad. Is it even possible? Ataritard
Sure it's possible. Going digital adds an extra element to the mix but in the end would be worth it. How handy are you?
+DamonicFury
You can use the Competition Pro along with the Wico keypad. (The Wico joystick still needs to be connected to center the Comp Pro, but you don't have to use it.)
stringfellow
I'm not that handy. It just seems a waste that it can only be used with the wico sticks which I don't like all that much to begin with. The Competition Pro is nice but hard to find. bohoki
its crazy easy to adapt a gameport pc joystick to the 5200 the trick is finding a joystick that agrees with your ergonomics and that have quality there is some really jittery junk out there but many gems it depends on how you want to do it if you want them to plug into your wico that would be my first choice because the keypad has a good cable from the 5200 and will reduce clutter if you really want to attempt to make it i'll pm you a pin to pin connector diagram from the 9 pin out of the wico to a 15 pin of the pc joy just send me a message i made a bunch of adapters but they would require you plugging in the wico keypad to the passthrough on my adapter and my adapters are pretty ugly
