Master Phruby
What is the name of the song being played in the game Bobby is Going Home? It sounds like a church song.
Cebus Capucinis
It is "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". So yep, a classic hymn. I always found it a little funny that they used that particular tune.
Thomas Jentzsch
I wonder if that game was programmed for some Christian organization.
Dino
I wonder if that game was programmed for some Christian organization. There's a thread started before on this topic. some of the other bitcorp titles too had christian based music. Most likely they were all programed by the same Taiwanese chap who was christian. purduecrum
I'm pretty sure if I ever get around to writing a 2600 game that I'm going to use a Mighty Fortress somewhere in the game...
cparsley
Just think it was like "public domain" music to them, stuff they didn't have to pay for but was already composed so all they had to do was program it in the game.
Master Phruby
I thought everything China uses is considered "public domain" by them.
