Anyone used a JeST adapter on a 7800 for Playstation controller use?

I've gone through 25 pages of topics in here and I haven't found any threads pertaining to anyone trying to use a JeST adapter on a 7800 in order to use Playstation controllers. I didn't discover this adapter until a couple of nights ago on the web. It appears it does work with the 7800. Here's the link:

You probably won't find much more than that about the JeST. The person who was making them died in a motorcycle accident last year.

What? That's tragic and yet another reason why I don't like "donorcycles". So I went to a ghost web page? One less talented Atari enthusiast in our world. :(

Rev 2 never made it out of the door because I had some other ideas for it. The project is still on the back burner at the moment.

 

 

I did see that, GroovyBee. And I understand why it's on your back burner, especially considering your XM work...

I thought I'd mention it just in case. The new changes I came up with will make the whole design more flexible so there is potential to support other consoles besides the 7800. Another major goal was to make the whole thing much easier to manufacture because the first prototype took way too long.
