BillyHW
Were there any arcade games with analog joysticks similar to the 5200?
The Eidolon
I'm sure there must be quite a few. I think Sinistar had a 49 position (7x7) joystick. For later games, Monkey Ball had an analog stick shaped like a banana. I would imagine a board for people who build their own MAME cabs would have a lot of discussion of controls. Lord Helmet
Star Wars TAG (and Empire Strikes back and Jedi) Firefox they didn't use sticks, but the flight yoke was analog.
+DamonicFury
Some analog-controlled games other than those already mentioned: Food Fight, Road Runner, Blaster, I Robot, Red Baron
Sonic R
one game that comes to mind is Space Harrier... the arcade has analog control... the only port that offers it is the Sega Saturn version (I play using the mission stick) *there was a Space Harrier collection on PS2, but I've never played it so I cannot confirm if it utilizes proper analog control... ledzep
Tail Gunner as well used an analog joystick. That would be a cool 5200 game. Sounds like it will be coming to the Vectrex, at least. I don't think it's a coincidence that my two favorite game consoles used analog joysticks.
