gorfcadet Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 What I always wanted to see was a forward scrolling Asteroids that incorporated the asteroid physics into enemy swarm shooting and boss fights. Like Galaga meets Asteroids meets Blazing Lazers. You'd have the ability to shoot asteroids into enemies, but bosses could throw them at you. Maybe Galaga tractor beams could grab asteroids instead of your ship and use them for shields. Maybe when I win the lottery I'll retire from teaching and make the darn thing myself. Now that would be a cool hack, have each new screen start with all white asteroids and then random colors show up when you start shooting them!
