icemanxp300
I had no intention of trying to scare away bidders (nor do I believe that such a tactic would even work). Wouldn't have on me I would have and still would repro that bad boy if I did that stuff. Except I wouldn't do pre-order. I'd just make them and sell them. icemanxp300
Well maybe you can buy the other one and walk the walk. Like Is aid "IF" I made repro carts I would. Fact is even if I made repro carts it's a losing investment as $10,000 is too much to pay for a repro profit, especially since it's already being repro'd. raskar42
looks like you dodged a bullet then. Edited September 11, 2012 by raskar42
icemanxp300
Man sometimes you guys just say stuff that has no relevance to the conversation at all. No, no I didn't dodge a bullet. Dodging a bullet would imply I had involvement with this thing, when fact is I had no desire to even place a $1 bid on this item.

I don't think anyone knows who the buyer was yet. But, as I mentioned above, a buyer can get someone else to do the repro.

HatefulGravey
You would think free shipping would have been offered in this. I mean really, someone came off almost 14k for this game and still had to pick up shipping? Man what an auction.

AtariLeaf
So is the winner a regular here?
Zach
For those who missed it, the high bid was stagnant at $9110.00 for hours. Then within the last 15 seconds it jumped to $10760.00 and finally met reserve. The winning bid of $13877.78 came in at about the 8 second mark. bomberpunk
Click the link above and you'll find out. I'm not going to spend $60 on a repro of this game. Don't need to play it that bad.

+Random Terrain
Yes. He is capable of making himself known if he likes. He is one awesome guy. The way you guys talk, he sounds like he's made out of candy and angel tears. Like a magical real-life Willy Wonka that you can take a bite out of, but it's OK since every bite instantly grows back.
icemanxp300
So is the winner a regular here? He is on the site. I don't know whats considered a "regular". He's been a member since 2008 and before his sale thread, I don't think he has posted in the forums if he did it wasnt morer than a few post. However according to AL and a few others he has made many deals, so he must use pm's quite a bit?
Dino
I bet if there were only one copy in existence, it would have cracked $15k
