Atari the Jedi
I can only buy 1 and I'd like to buy just a 5200 card at the moment. This will be my treat to myself Edited October 22, 2012 by Atari the Jedi
AtariBrian
I own 2 and I would strongly suggest Koffi Yellow kopter. Very fun game...I am so glad I decided to buy it despite not seeing any gameplay video of it. I wonder if someone could post some gameplay footage of it on here somewhere. Charlie_
Koffi is very good but I would recommend Adventure II. It's all that and a bag of chips.
atari5200dude82
I recommend both of them. Or wait for Tempest.
Atari the Jedi
I was a little young for adventure on the 2600 I didn't really get into that scene until about Zelda two. I am curious what is the helicopter game like is it like shoplifter or chopper command? A video would be nice I get paid on Friday
+Cafeman
I'm the author of 'the helicopter game'. I can't say I've ever seen a video of it. I made a few years back but they don't exist anymore. The gameplay is nothing like choplifter or chopper command. There's no shooting - you catch raindrops, bump into the evil stormcloud to destroy it, avoid its lightning, drag animals to safety, and use your collected water to douse the fire. Check out Koffi's old homepage , it describes the gameplay and shows screenshots. Hope that helps you make a decision. http://cafeman.www9.50megs.com/atari/5200dev/KoffiKopter.html

jetset
What, no love for Castle Crisis? That gets my vote! It's pretty awesome, VERY faithful to the arcade (my only gripe is the legal crap that made it so it couldn't be called "Warlords"). Even with the stock controllers it's awesome, but if you have a 5200 paddle controller it is spectacular. And, unlike the 2600 version the computer isn't a retard. Very challenging but not impossible, and you'll not likely ever reach the point where it gets so easy beating the computer that it's not fun anymore. Atari the Jedi
I think I might just start with one and over time just get one per month thinking of which to start with
