pedro_jorge
Hi, I recently acquired a PAL 6 switch Woody along with a Harmony Cart. But I'm finding out that PAL games are not as playable as NTSC ones (20% slower). And there are a lot of games that are available only on NTSC. Also on my TV (Sony KDL40W2000) NTSC games can't get a stable picture so they are unplayable. So i'm considering selling this console and buying an american NTSC instead. But i have my doubts that it will work on a European TV without composite modding the console. Any of you had any success making it work in Europe without modding the console? If so what tv brand/model are you using? Thanks, Pedro

+SmittyB
As long as you have the right power supply and your TV supports both PAL and NTSC (pretty much standard since the late 90s in the UK at least) you can use any console. As for mixing console and cartridge regions I have an NTSC copy of Berzerk which runs fine on my PAL Jr albeit in black and white.
pedro_jorge
Thanks, my TV supports both PAL and NTSC but NTSC only through composite not through RF... I've tried passing the RF signal through a VCR and then through SCART to the TV. The image improves a little but remains rather "jumpy" on NTSC games I can't get a stable image equal to what i get in PAL games.
