DoctorTom
Yes, please take care of yourself and best wishes that you can get well as soon as possible. So the replacement valve is leaking ... reminds me of my friend who has had some minor surgeries lately due to her poor health (she as only one [weak] kidney), and several recent complications of hers were caused by bleeding after surgery. How hard can it be for doctors to do it right the first time, I wonder. I guess that's why docs call their career "a practice". Very easy to criticize from afar, isn't it? Parrothead
Hey Curt, This hobby has been far better with you and your projects in it. Thank you or all you've done and will do in the years to come. Take care of yourself and get better soon!

sega_SHARK
What's an XM? I don't care now.... GET BETTER. You will be more better, and you'll be better. BOTH. Do you have a favorite nurse yet? The one that takes you off the pain killers will be your least favorite.

CGQuarterly
Curt, PLEASE just completely forget that the XM exists until you've completely recovered. That should be the absolute furthest thing from your mind. As time allows, please check in and let us know how you're doing. Chris
Defender_2600
I am very sorry. Curt, best wishes for a successful operation and a healthy recovery. Please take care of yourself.
AtariNerd
Seems you really did blow a gasket. Don't stress about projects... Heal and rest yourself.
theredlineboss
Like the others have said, take care of yourself; waiting a bit longer for the XM is not going to hurt us. Best wishes with the operation! -Rob
NightSprinter
I had a feeling health problems were causing stress levels to exceed your tolerance point. if I have to, Curt, I'm sending you MORE cash just to help with medical expenses. Hell, take my payment for my XM and use it for that instead. No project or hobby overrides your health and well-being. Please don't let this passion of yours be a fatal one. I know what it's like to want to continue on (despite the body physically refusing), but one needs to just know when they have to say "enough" and not push further. Dauber
Curt, the important thing is to get better. Screw the XM, we can wait.
