Atari portable

Got any links?

I know Curt has had a few projects along the way that were interesting but didn't make it. I believe there was a ST drive for the 8 bit, there was the 7800 keyboard adaptor and computer cartridges, and the XM project for the 7800 which is the more likely project to come out.

Don't recall a portable project. Curt has made a lot possible, and brought a lot to our attention about Atari and the various systems, not to mention tons of source code, so I can forgive in his more dreamware moments. :)

I think this thread is what you would be looking for:

http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/74783-fb3/page__st__850__hl__+portable%20+7800#entry2366366

I don't think I had seen any updates on it in quite some time; it may have been shelved or outright cancelled. Not sure...but in any event, I would not expect to hear of any movement on that project while Curt is laid up.

He's Ben Heck, he makes any system portable XD ugly

I think Curt was looking towards new products to be released after the success of the FB2, however Atari, if you can call them that have showed their true colours with the FB3 and FB4 monstrosities.

I hope that Curt is back to rude health quickly and maybe Sysergy Co can release something along the lines of a true 7800 portable and not some nasty piece of emulation
