Atari2600Lives
Ok this should inspire some that believe there are no longer any Holy Grail retro games to find out in the wild. This mint condition , complete Power Lords for Odyssey 2 was found last week at an estate sale for $4 . I have to thank 2 friends of mine who know I collect old video games giving me the heads up on the sale and the fact that the sale contained an old Odyssey 2 collection, I paid $44 total for a mostly mint collection of about 20 games with console (all boxed and complete). I am not an Odyssey 2 expert so i did not know exactly what i had when I first saw it, I did research the collection this morning and to say I was pleasantly surprised is an under statement. The last Power Lords sold in this condition brought $182 (confirmed) and there is currently one listed much higher on eBay. Since i have been collecting 25+ years I have only ever found 3 (this being the 4th) holy grail type pieces out in the wild. So its a big deal for me anyway . Atari_Bill
Congratulations! Great score in general let alone in the wild! Common games no longer exist in the wild in my area let alone this. I'd love to get this box someday. Already have the game, but it is one of the few O2 boxes I still need.

bennybingo
Awesome score!!! I got my copy of Power Lords in the wild too... ...I bought it off The Golden Ax. That dude is pretty wild, so I think it qualifies!

BassGuitari
Nice find! Power Lords is one of the last US Odyssey games I'm still missing (weirdly, I never got around to picking up Dynasty! yet either). My best find in the wild was a loose Stadium Mud Buggies for Intellivision. It was in a lot with other INTV rares like Pole Position, Diner, Dig Dug, about 6 or 7 others. Just the concentration of rarity in that find was a rarity in itself.

98PaceCar
Nice find! I had a similar experience just a few months ago. Bought a boxed O2 with about 25 games, one of which was a CIB Power Lords, for $50. Yours is in a bit nicer shape, but I'm not going to complain considering I sold the system and dupes off for more than what I paid for the lot.
