+save2600
Those raised 400 keyboards have got to be the coolest 3rd party add ons for the system. Next to expansion RAM that is. Had and used regularly (typing programs from magazines BITD) a regular stock 400. As cool as it was/is, would have absolutely LOVED having that keyboard. Ataridroid
What do you think I should offer him? I am thinking of coming in at a nice lowball of $100 and go from there, he might take it. Edited April 9, 2013 by Ataridroid
Mirage
I think $200 would be a "real good" price, so maybe start at $150. I don't know. If I really want something, I might offer lower, but not totally lowball, but that's just me. To me, $100 is borderline offensive for all that stuff that looks pretty nice. Agree on the 400 w/keyboard, that's just sexy.
icemanxp300
Yea on listings like these I wouldn't offer $100 based on what he is asking. I would ask first; is $350 the best you can do, and then work him down after he lowers the price Just a little tactic I learned over over the years where you can offer less and it doesn't sound so bad. Sometimes I will use a dramatic lowball to bring people back to reality though if they are asking like $700 for $200 worth of stuff.

Thanks to Google Voice, I have different numbers that I can text/call people with with to see if my lowballs insult people or they just take it. To be honest, about 80% of the time they come in close to my lowball!
