Curt Vendel
Hi All... Well, I literally blew the dust off of things 3 days ago, the workbench and early Test XM's and Mark and I are going back and forth. My main XM test unit unfortunately got knocked around badly in a tipping over of equipment on an adjacent workbench and it got banged up really bad and many of the jumper wires got ripped up, so its useless right now. I have got both feet back and just sent Mark some updates, one additional update I need to get to him tomorrow, but if all goes well, then (HOPEFULLY) in a week I'll get boards for 4 final test units in, 2 will be for Mark and I to finalize designs and testing, debug the Audio portion and once we wrap that up then the other two will initially go out to Perry and Bob as they have both been in desperate need to test their games on real XM hardware. So lets hope to get things wrapped up, I am feeling really good and feeling very upbeat, so I really want to get these XM's out to everyone. Sorry to hear about the workbench incident; you just have too much awesome in your workspace to be contained is all.

thursday83
Nice dude. Glad to hear. Now let's start talking about some more games for this thing, psyched to see what this unit can do! Welcome back Curt and thanks man.
frogstar_robot
Mind your health first and foremost. Most of us know you can deliver so take the time both to get the XM right and keep yourself right. The last 10% of the checklist surely has 90% of the work doesn't it? Thanks for the birthday greetings, even though I kinda hate birthdays, keeps reminding me I'm getting older... but I do appreciate the message and picture... wow, Rev 2.14 that was 9 sub-revisions and 1 major tear down and completely redone design ago... Well, I'm just waiting on some feedback from Mark and I would like to order the newest board samples to run off, lets hope for the best this week coming.... Sector7e
@Stun Runner 87: You can get status updates and pre-order the XM here: http://www.atarimuseum.com/videogames/consoles/7800/expansion/

KevinMos3
What is the best way to do an address change? I've moved since I placed my order back when the pre-orders first opened up. I browsed the status update page for info on that as well as the new site. Another problem I see is now that there's a new site, it does not recognize my email address so I cannot log in to edit my account or anything. It might be a good idea to do a temporary sticky concerning address changes until the product gets shipped. That way anyone else who has a question can easily find the answer to this. Atariman
If I remember right, Curt has said in the past that an email will be sent out verifying shipping addresses shortly before the XM ships.
+grips03
I just read an older thread with a list of XM capabilities, here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/173454-7800-expansion-module-xm-hardware-game-details-112612/ this is such a tremendous undertaking. I would like to thank all those involved. I'm so glad there are smart people
