metzger130
Just got back from a Goodwill store and they had a 5200 for sale. I wanted to take a look at it to see what all came with it. It was a 4 port system, with the power, switchbox, and 1 controller.. It also came with Moon Patrol, Pac-Man, Qix, Centipede and a game without a label (appears to be Frogger from the brief time I turned it on to check the system. It does work, although there was a llot of static when I turned it on, but the controller needs some work. I couldn't get a game to start so I'm going to open it up and see if the dot trick will work along wth cleaning it up. I already had a 2 port system with 2 controllers so I just hope it works, but I still have 2 that work so no big deal if I can't get it to work. I probably just need to bend in the outer side of the part that connects to the tv, vcr in my case, so that it makes a more solid connection to get rid of the static. Total for all of this? $40! I think I got a steal.

metzger130
It does work. I'm guessing that in order to get a cleaner signal I just need to put in the, ground?, of the part that goes into the VCR. So that it's a tighter fit. CRTGAMER
Maybe one of the soldered connections inside the 4 port RF Auto Switchbox is loose. This happened to my 4 port, the RCA connector with fat insulation hanging off it caused the breakage inside. An easy resolder job.
