ApolloBoy
Has anyone attempted this yet? I've been reading up on the French 7800s with RGB output and I was wondering if it was possible at all to convert this into an NTSC console that would be totally compatible with NTSC 2600 and 7800 games. ApolloBoy
Anyone else care to chime in? I haven't been totally satisfied with the LHE board and it'd be real neat to use RGB for 2600 and 7800 games.
gambler172
No,best would be,to buy a PAL and an NTSC System......should be not too expensive. Then you can be sure,to enjoy all games. BTW,the 7800 PAL System Plays near all 2600 NTSC games and most 7800 NTSC games, but with a few glitches at the screeen bottom.

Yes, but the PAL 7800 is incompatible with Robotron which is one of my fav 7800 games, and I think some other NTSC games have issues on a PAL system. Wouldn't the colors also be incorrect for NTSC 2600 games? Plus the system would be running at 50 Hz and I don't want that.
