The main objecitive of this video which I made is to alert all members, specially new players, who wants to participate in the 7800 High Score Club to post scores for Food Fight, giving the following advice: at the moment you lose your last life, you NEED to press Pause button (or F12 key for emulator users) to take a screenshot of your final score, because it WILL NOT be displayed again after this game returns to the Opening Screen and goes to the demonstration mode.

The score in the video which I showed above is NOT VALID for HSC, because I used Default Settings - Intermediate / Starting Level 1 (SKILL IMCOMPATIBLE).

Also, in the same video, I used the following technique to archieve high scores for 7800 Food Fight, as I did on Season 5: until Level 16, I hunted the chefs until 2-5 seconds before the Ice Cream melts completely, i.e, I ate the cone after the sound alert. On Level 17 and all the subsequents, I focused directly on Ice Cream, trying to complete more quickly. So, watch this video entirely, please!

Notice that I'm on vacations which has been started today.

FOOD FIGHT - EXPERT / LEVEL 01, USING EMU7800 - 287,800

SCREENSHOT: post-24681-0-67161800-1372695340_thumb.png

VIDEO - RECORDED WITH SOUNDS (Note that I pressed Pause button via Color / Black & White TV on EMU7800 at the end of gameplay before the message "GAME OVER PLAYER 1" appears; then I took a screenshot showed above):

Bad news: my PAL 7800 has serious problems in 7800 mode: Asteroids, Galaga and the 2600 mode works fine, but Xevious (tried 2 copies) and Desert Falcon only works with graphic glitches and locks up after a few minutes...(maybe there is a problem with multicolored backgrounds?) I think I have to buy another system :?

Don't expect new 7800 scores from Mister-VCS for the next weeks (or month?)....

That really is a pain in the ass to have to hit the pause button so quickly. Why bother even putting score in the game if it just lets you see it for a few seconds otherwise? Bad programing.

They intended you to use the high score cart. If you have one of the repro high score carts or a CC2 it works great.

I am honestly starting to think you could get a better picture using the Gameboy Camera than you can with the 3DS camera. I need to buy a new "family camera" for everything else, so I can make sure my little Kodak is always next to the 7800. Getting this picture with the 3DS one took more work with lighting and lining up appropriate distances than any sane person would have put up with.
