+OLD CS1
Heh, Does not work on solid state modules.... well played, sir.... well played....... I had to state something which would be obvious to those who know without using a brand name. One of my auctions was killed because I said it was not for the Commodore -- brand abuse and search manipulation. Ah, well.

+OLD CS1
Anyone know the make and model of the drive? Looks interesting. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 162901716034
+Ksarul
That is an MPI Model 51, also known as the "disk chucker" due to the tendency to send the disks flying out of the drive when opening the door. It is a solid, reliable drive though. . .and there is also a double-sided version, model number MPI-52, but TI didn't supply those for the PEB, you had to buy them from third parties.

By far one of the most technically in-depth manuals I have read. +OLD CS1
He has the button active, so someone may find out if the seller is open to a REASONABLE offer. Maybe. I have learned that even with a "make offer" available if the listed price is too high people wander off. I admittedly do the same more often than not. I cannot remember off-hand, but I am pretty certain I paid somewhere between $40 and $80 for my CC-40. ::shrugs::

+helocast
Texas Instruments Home Computer TI-99/4A Model: PHC004A With manuals and box No experience with seller. Pristine, low mileage and/or light use beige, QI (non V2.2) - I don't even see wear on the I/O port. CONUS free shipping included in the $80 price. IMO, a great deal (compared to some of the regular sh** I see) if you know someone that's thinking about getting back into loving our lady! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Texas-Instruments-Home-Computer-TI-99-4A-Model-PHC004A-With-manuals-and-box/252925816404
Casey
Do we know when the V2.2 consoles started to show up? I'd like to get my hands on one, but do you need a beige console with a 1984 build date to ensure it is V2.2?
RickyDean
I've got a couple of motherboards that may be 2.2 boards. They don't work right now, that's probably why they are just motherboards. One day I'll check them out.

Omega-TI
If someone wants a good working P-Box for much less, I'll sell them my backup box (if they'll be at Fest West) for only $145.00. It's the one that had the fan upgrade as shown in << THIS BLOG ENTRY >>. Sorry for the size of the photos (click to view full-size), but I figured any potential buyer would want to be able to see every little blemish and speck of dust.

Very clean consoles with fair prices and low CONUS shipping. Please, correct me. I thought having multiple 32k expansion cards didn't do any good? Or was RAM paging built in somehow. Going to have to go researching again, but I could swear that the only way to get more was with the cards that did their own paging.
