+Ksarul
It has a TMS9995. I have two of these. F18A chips work in them too. . .
+Schmitzi
.. ah, the Geneve-CPU nice. So it is newer then the 4A I think. Hmmm, but Geneve does not run with F18A, doesn´t it?
+mizapf
No, the Geneve uses the v9938 VDP, which has RGB output and can be connected via SCART plug; I used an Amiga monitor first, later a compatible Philips model. BTW, the Tomy Tutor family is also emulated in ME ... ehm ... MAME.
+Schmitzi
.. But there is no documentation for a scart-cable, nor for a RGB-Cable for my 1084S. Had different tries, measured all pins in both jumper-positions, but the pins are not as described in the Geneve´s manual. Only Composite works, but I cannot sit in front of that. Is there any known cable on the market that works ?
kl99
Here is some TI with PEB that might contain a p-code card. At least the seller has a p-system Editor Manual with it. I asked the seller to add a photo or a list of the PEB cards. http://www.ebay.com/itm/texas-instruments-ti-99-4a-computer-Complete-set-up-/252170910575?
Omega-TI
Damn, these things are getting CHEAP! The little WiFi adapter that I have hooked up to my UDS-10 is now only $12.05... and that's including shipping! So if you want to WiFi your TI-99/4A & UDS-10 for use with that fancy new TIMXT program on the BBS in 80 color ANSI graphics, check it out: << EBAY LINK >>
+Schmitzi
Maybe this one does not run, as it seems to be a repeater, not a bridge. There was one device only that worked, the VAP11N - IIRC All other sellers were cheating with the search-word "Bridge", as a "catcher", but were no bridges. I "blamed" on all this selllers half a year ago ("report item", maybe you remember), and all the sellers changed their description. And here, at least, is NO manufacturer´s number mentioned. Andfor this price, at first I tend to assume that it does not work as bridge... ....it should be tested in conjunction with the UDS-10

There was one device only that worked, the VAP11N - IIRC Ahhhh, that's probably why it's so cheap. I remember that now. I originally bought the one that would not work as a bridge. Which reminds me, maybe one of these days I'll update my manual to include "how to WiFi your TI" and maybe even highlight TIMXT (when it gets out of BETA). I prefer this one from "Buddy Bear"... as it's only $5.95 + $5.72 shipping. Then I'd get an Uber Cart and make my own. E/A

+Ksarul
And it appears that the second seller there is down to his last 13 E/A Cartridge sets. . .at only $47.99 each plus $8 for shipping. The manual is online and the cartridge is available as part of the XB 2.7 Suite--with a total cost in the same range, but the XB 2.7 Suite delivers soooo much more. . .

wyerd
Not TI related, but we thought some of the "rare" TI carts went for a kings ransom! Any Atari 2600 owners with a spare $1000 might be interested in this.....http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-2600-Coke-Wins-Pepsi-Invaders-Prototype-extremely-rare-/252168356678?hash=item3ab667c346%3Ag%3AvcUAAOSwLzdWRNEh
Omega-TI
Those binders have a very nice, thick padded cover that is unique... Yes, the Editor/Assembler one has some nice padding. The Microsoft Multiplan and TI-Writer binders are EXACTLY like ones you can pick up at any Office Despot. I never did like the "mix and match" look on my shelf. I've been contemplating getting a new binder and replacing the padded one. Then of course I'd have to make a matching spine too....
