weirdaljr
Hello All! This is my first post here so go easy on me! I've done a bit of research first, but I have not seen too much about what I was hoping to accomplish which is to add a basic composite mod to a 2600 JR while keeping the RF working as well. Is this possible? I have decent soldering skills and wanted to do a low budget composite mod from parts at my home, which I achieved with a mod i researched using a 22 ohm resistor and 2x 1k potentiometers off the stell chip without removing any components and mimimal work this mod works well for me. It gave me a solid video output with little work and no money spent, but alas I noticed with it connected the old built in RF stopped working. Is their any possibility to have both working easily? Even if it was a switch I mounted on the side of the case near the composite mod jacks to turn them on or off, but I wouldn't know what to switch outside of all 5 connections I made as RF didn't seem to work to all or nearly all connections made were removed. I was hoping someone else has had experiance with this. Any suggestions or input is appreciated. Thanks!

sodarun
I don't think so, I just finished my AV mod and we had to remove ( as in rip out) some of the RF components I guess if you had some kind of switch ( my knowledge is very limited )
