gsampson35
Found a copy of Pole Position 2 kicking around in the basement. Was wondering if this is common for this cartridge. Both lables are on backwards. Game was packed in with the 1984 batches of 7800's.
Tempest
It's not that uncommon. I've seen tons of Atari 2600 and 7800 carts with upside down labels (both main and end). Quality control at the manufacturing plants was pretty bad circa 85-92.

Agreed, though it's interesting to see that label is 1984 Atari Inc. Not a whole lot of Atari Inc. 7800 cartridges floating around out there, no matter which way the label is pointed. Classic Pac
Frankly I have never seen one with the label the right side up

Curt Vendel
The 1984 PP2 labels are all like that, they are all upside down on everyone I have (think I have 7 as of last count on the 84's and they are severely antiplaque like that too, I don't remember if the 86 labels are oriented the same or not but the 86 version doesn't antiplaque like the 84 version. +FujiSkunk
Actually I also have an '84 PP2, and its labels are not upside down. So there are at least a few out there they got right!

Mine as well. I'll get another pic up later. Label is right-side up.
