SoundGammon
Some games look ok like Ms Pac-Man & Dig Dug, other games like Asteroids. Dark Chambers, Xenophobe with wrong colors. White asteroids not solid white - blue parts in them, player's ship odd purple. Tried loading different palettes doesn't help. Also tried running under XP mode, still the same! Any suggestions? That is a common problem under the newer versions of Windows (7 and when running in full screen as it defaults the palette to 8-bit which is no longer supported. You have to run the ProSystem emulator in a window or else the color palette (Any of them) will be completely off.
SoundGammon
Thanks for the info! Another reason to hang on to Windows ME and XP!
MrMaddog
Another trick to use is to right click on the desktop and select Personalize to turn off the Aero transparent effects and also right click again and choose Screen Resolution. Keep that window open or mininized to run 256 color screen modes like they should. This is an issue with NVIDIA cards running on 64-bit Windows 7...
