Scooter83
I came across this on Ebay and could have sworn I saw a post about it on here. But encase it wasnt posted on here before I would share this link with you guys. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FATARI-Donkey-Kong-ALT-LABEL-400-800-800XL-1200XL-130XE-XL-XE-XEGS-8bit-8-bit-%2F291069301213%3F Its a regular release board and chips of the game ( from the pictures) but the label stood out and Ive never heard of American Techna-Vision. Maybe its a Mexican or Brazilan company? Like Polyvox was to the Atari 2600? Would love to hear more about this and the history behind it. _The Doctor__
American company, just a developer cartridge properly labeled by a developer/preview cart for retail. Edited February 1, 2014 by _The Doctor__
Scooter83
Did they do any other titles outside of Donkey Kong?
+David_P
ATV was a retailer like B&C or Best. I'm guessing they got a bunch of parts and assembled the carts themselves, and slapped on their homebrew label.
Mathy
Hello guys American Techna-Vision advertised in lots of American computer (Atari?) magazines. They had lots of part for lots of Atari(peripherals)'s. I guess I must have drooled over each and every one of their ads. Sincerely Mathy
