Kida0723
Greetings. i have a 2 port system which i really loved being that it obviously worked with the VCS adapter but also worked with Krazy Shootout and the other games that typically don't work on 2 port consoles. yesterday it stopped working. Any advice to troubleshoot the problem or how to fix? Thanks in advance.

zylon
Check cap#47 and pin #11 of A26(U29 in my pic and ignore the marker pointer). That little IC near the power switch is often the culprit. They are really cheap and if that fixes the problem, ditch the power supply and get another. A bad voltage regulator can give the same issue, but the IC is more likely the cause of a sudden failure. Jesse
Hello I have a 5200 console. When the power is on & a cartridge is in all I get is a static screen. What might be the problem?
+-^CrossBow^-
Two questions first: What kind of TV are you using: CRT or modern Flatpanel? What model of 5200 is it? 2 port or 4 controller ports?
