iast Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Today I received a 410 program recorder, but I'm running into some issues with it. Trying to load tapes with it on my 600XL doesn't do anything, nor does it want to rewind or advance, regardless if I have it plugged into my 600XL or not. I'm also noticing that if you have a button depressed and turn it on one side, it starts making a loud humming noise. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Remember these things are now 30+ years old and being kept unused for years at a time is probably as bad for them as being constantly used. There's various threads around re replacing them. Another option might be one of those adaptors that allows playing from audio devices through to a car cassette player since it doesn't rely on movement.
