chinnyhill10 Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Anyone know of a version of Cas2wav that plays nicely with Windows 7 and 8? When I try to use it Windows complains saying that it doesn't work with this version of Windows. Enabling compatibility mode doesn't help. Don't have any older boxes around. bfollett Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 If your Windows 7 and/or 8 are 64 bit and cas2wav is a 16 bit app, it's not going to be all that easy. 64 bit windows dropped support for 16bit apps. On Windows 7 you can look into installing Microsoft's Virtual PC, which actually runs a virtual copy of XP, and should allow the 16 bit app to run. On Windows 8 it's called Hyper-v.
