NeoGeo update: Scratching my head for two days why I don't hear the sound out from the NeoGeo emu.. Turned out I wasn't using the NG Bios... Anyway, now the sound is working (and music), so now preparing the 1st level demo, polishing it, and soon complete GFX redraw in pixel art.

I'm glad that @ShadowGangs is making good progress with the port. Speaking of Metal Slug, that series may have well-animated sprites, but Kraut Buster has better colors, music, and eight-directional aiming. I'd like to see NG.DevTeam make a sports game for the Neo Geo.

Funny you should mention that Slidel. I do remember asking NGDevTeam about requesting a sports title into consideration in their lineup as a upcoming title years ago. They did like the idea and were considering the genre as on option for the Neo-Geo.  I wonder if they still like to do so.

If Rafael Dyll needs someone to help out with audio cues, I'll be happy to help. I bet NG.DevTeam should consider Volleyball, Tennis, Track Events, or Football.

The Neo Geo needs more than just Touchdown Fever, Windjammers, or that one Volleyball game that Scarlet Sprites called one of the worst on the system.

I was also thinking of a good racer would be fun as well. A Formula One or maybe a motorcycle style game as well. I still love Neo Drift Out and Over Top. Maybe they can develop a game in that particular style.

I think that Neo Homebrew is still working on their pinball game, but it has been so long since we heard anything about it.

I love a good pinball game Matt.  I always wanted SNK to make one for the Neo-Geo. I wouldn't mind if NG Dev Team made one for the unit. Mike from NeoHomeBrew is currently developing his latest game as a pinball title. I havent heard much regarding it as of late. but hopefully it will be available soon.

That's right Slidel. The last time I seen an update was in the beginning of the year. But I'm sure Mike is making progress knowing that he's a perfectionist.

Man, if you want to use ADPCM for anything other than percussion, then you will either need to A) use the SSG channels for bitcrushed samples or B) ADPCM B. If you are using the Neo Geo CD in Furnace Tracker, the latter isn't an option.
