FND
Just to be clear Since the title of this thread is "Shill bidding on these Channel F carts?" And the term shill bidding usually means the selleror someone they know is bidding up the price. I needto go on record that I DID NOT bid up or have someoneelse bid up these prices Dennis AKA FND
Atari_Bill
I really wanted to be a player for the football cart you just sold. I unfortunately was waiting on a response for something else that I had an offer on and wasn't sure if I should free up the money for it or not. It went lower than I expected and I regret that I didn't try for it. It looked to be in very nice shape.

I need to go on record that I DID NOT bid up or have someone else bid up these prices Dennis AKA FND Thread title has been updated- and please do allow me to extend my apologies for any unintended inference that your recent listings might have had shill bidding on them. Such was not at all my intent, and I do indeed know that you'd never even think to do such a thing.
FND
Thanks for the sincere apology, I however did not think you were accusing me just wanted to go on recordas stating I did not shill these auctions, since someone randomly reading about this mayhave gotten the wrong Idea. Also changing the title of the thread was appreciated as it should help eliminateany misunderstanding. Blazing Lazers
Just wanted to update the thread with the following pending listings (not mine) The following CIB listings (both from the same seller) of #24: Pro Football and #22: Slot Machine are the white-box versions, yet both have schoolgirl and happiest bidding on them. It'll be interesting to see those two bidding against each other and the effect it has on the final price... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pro-Football-Channel-F-Videocart-24-by-Fairchild-w-box-instructions-/171858664194?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2803931b02 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Slot-Machine-Channel-F-Videocart-22-by-Fairchild-w-box-instructions-/171858659857?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2803930a11 The seller also has a CIB white-box version of #23: Galactic Space Wars and a #26: Alien Invasion: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Galactic-Space-Wars-Channel-F-Videocart-23-by-Fairchild-w-box-instructions-/171858662342?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item28039313c6 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alien-Invasion-Channel-F-Videocart-26-by-Fairchild-with-box-instructions-/151746625743?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2354cdc0cf The Alien Invasion in particular seems to be in nice shape. Yet it, along with the other above listings, may end short of what they otherwise would, being preempted by the recently added listings (among others) of another seller: a CIB illustrated-box version of #24: Pro Football: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairchild-Channel-F-Pro-Football-Videocart-24-/161766014420?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25aa017dd4 a CIB illustrated-box version of #23: Galactic Space Wars: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairchild-Channel-F-Galactic-Space-Wars-Videocart-23-/161766006277?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25aa015e05 a CIB #20: Video Whizball: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairchild-Channel-F-Video-Whizball-Videocart-20-/161766015837?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25aa01835d and the gem of them all, a CIB illustrated-box version of #19: Checkers: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairchild-Channel-F-Checkers-Videocart-19-/161766016931?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25aa0187a3&autorefresh=true Would it have killed the seller to have simply put a decent BIN on it??? As it is, the listing might kill the wallet of whoever wins it. It's been active for less than 12 hours and has already been bid up, including by schoolgirl and whoever the 0***0(978) and the i***a(430) idiots are. And another notorious happy reseller who recently fouled up the Channel F market hasn't even bid on this yet. The really amazing thing, though, is that it and all the other Channel F listings from the seller (including incomplete #'s 25 & 26 in bad condition) are explicitly listed as untested! Having encountered many Channel F Videocarts that simply don't work, any intelligent buyer would have to assume that these do not work, and are really paying for the box and manual. Blazing Lazers
The listings from the first seller recently ended. Beyond a CIB illustrated-box Checkers going for just over $460 a #20: Video Whizball went for $123 and a #18 Hangman went for $36, along with an illustrated-box #23: Galactic Space Wars for only $42 and a #24: Pro Football for $61. http://www.ebay.com/sch/swimwithmermaids/m.html?_nkw&_armrs=1&_ipg&_from&LH_PrefLoc=2&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2046732.m1684 The seller was somewhat foolish in having the listings all end at the same time. The ending time should have been spaced out by a few minutes. Everyone seemed to pile on to the Checkers and Whizball listings.
